In somewhat of a replay of the first game, the Spartans fell behind early to Horizon Honors in a barrage of 3-point shots. The Spartans seemed to be struggling to shake off a long Thanksgiving weekend, including two practices with half the team missing for either the Holiday, or the choir recital. Waking up a little in the second half, the ball movement improved and there were glimpses of some very strong individual plays. But too little too late as the Spartans fell to Horizon 45-31. Pranav Prathap led all scorers in the game with 16 points. Gage Belt had another strong performance at point guard and Parker Wong and Sai Chelldurai showed some individual flashes. Next up, Valley Lutheran on Tuesday, December 7th.
